Alice joined Butcher Andrews in September 2022 as a trainee solicitor and qualified as a solicitor in September 2024. Alice spent the majority of her two-year training contract in litigation (family and civil), plus one six-month seat in commercial property. Alice has qualified into the litigation team and focuses on contentious probate matters. Alice has been involved in disputes and settlements relating to capacity challenges, Inheritance Act claims, removal of executors, fraudulent calumny and other similar matters.
Before joining the firm in 2022, Alice worked in a managerial position within a hospital. Whilst working full time, Alice completed her bachelor’s degree, the legal practice course and masters in law at the University of Law. Alice graduated from the University in July 2022 with a distinction.
Outside of work, Alice enjoys going to the gym and playing netball where she regularly competes in the East Region league.
