
Shaun is an Associate Chartered Legal Executive and works in the Litigation Team here at Butcher Andrews specialising in Property Disputes. Shaun is a Legal 500 recommended lawyer specialising in Landlord and Tenant disputes, advising clients in relation to various areas including (but not limited to):
- Rent Arrears;
- Possession proceedings;
- Assured shorthold tenancies;
- Deregulation Act 2015;
- Disrepair/Dilapidations;
- 1954 Act lease renewals;
- Rights of first refusal.
Additionally, Shaun provides advice and assistance alongside the team on multiple other areas of complex property litigation.
Shaun graduated from the University of East Anglia with a degree in Law. Upon completing his law degree, Shaun joined a local law firm within their Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution Team whilst studying with the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (Cilex), completing a Level 6 Diploma in Legal Practice and obtaining fellowship status with Cilex. Upon qualifying, Shaun continued to further his knowledge and interest of property disputes by joining a commercial firm in Norwich before joining the team here at Butcher Andrews in August 2024.
Outside of work, Shaun is a qualified dance teacher and choreographer with the International Dance Teachers Association and teaches at his family-run dance school during the evening and weekends.
